Tux is about as Kiwi as a black singlet and gumboots. But therein lay a bit of its problem. Sure it was great tucker for working farm dogs, but those pampered pooches who sleep indoors, in town, weren’t really seeing it as their bag. How to change that without the whole Tux DNA going to the dogs? This is one of those stories. It required some judicial balancing: the finesse of new reassurances about the quality of the feed, against some very characterful ‘talent’, who you will see getting the royal treatment during the photo shoot below. The outcome? Plenty of life in the old dog yet.
